Check the version and your friends
Before creating or migrating a character, confirm the platform and edition used by your friends. PC players do not join console players. A migration is not an ongoing synchronization service. Start with the activities you can actually play together.
Use Career Builder deliberately
Career Builder is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC Enhanced. It offers Executive, Biker, Gunrunner or Nightclub Owner paths. Its GTA$4 million allocation funds initial selections; only up to GTA$1 million can remain as starting cash. This is a one-time feature, not a repeatable money reward.
Your first sessions
- Learn the phone, map filters, cover, armour and snack controls before committing to long jobs.
- Finish a few accessible missions and compare real completion times.
- Keep a reserve for useful equipment and business running costs.
- Join a trusted crew’s activity before buying an expensive property simply to host one.
