The headset rating label is beneath the right ear cushion. Hold the cushion frame when removing it; do not pull only on the fabric.

This is the PULSE 3D headset, not PULSE Elite CFI-ZWH2, the older Pulse Elite Edition or third-party headsets. Internal cards provide assessment routes where the available source is a teardown rather than a repair manual.

PRACTICAL REPAIR NOTES

Reset the headset link before assuming the adapter needs replacement.

Signs to investigate

  • Headset will not pair
  • Wireless connection drops

Prepare your bench

  • Thin pin for the adapter reset hole

Component procedure

  1. 01

Switch off the headset and insert its USB adapter into the console.

  2. 02

Press the adapter reset button through its reset hole for at least one second, then release.

  3. 03

Hold CHAT and VOLUME+ on the headset while switching it on. Check whether the headset and adapter reconnect.

  4. 04

If pairing still fails, check another console USB port and remove nearby sources of wireless interference before seeking service.

STOP POINT

Use only the identified reset hole. Do not open the adapter as part of pairing.

BEFORE YOU CALL IT DONE

Audio stays connected and the console recognises the headset.

Restore all covers, shielding and cable routing before powered tests. Keep each screw in its original position. If fit or resistance changes, reopen and inspect rather than tightening harder.
