Component procedure
- 01
Test a known-good cable and device first. Inspect the unpowered port for debris and bent contacts.

With power disconnected, use the revision-matched reference to remove the outer case and expose the front panel. Record ribbon routes and screw positions.
- 03
Release the USB board connections and its mounting screws. Lift the assembly without levering against adjacent connectors.
- 04
Fit the matching board; restore every ribbon and case section before reconnecting power.
A rear USB failure is not fixed by replacing this front board.
Check data and charging with a known-good device on each serviced port.
Restore all covers, shielding and cable routing before powered tests. Keep each screw in its original position. If fit or resistance changes, reopen and inspect rather than tightening harder.
